Confused, dragon

Days 203-208-- San Diego Comic Con

This was one of the best Comic Cons I have ever attended, even though I did nothing during con hours but wander the convention floor, enjoying the spectacle and talking with friends and colleagues.  I can't remember the last time it felt so low-stress.  Immersing myself in the company of dear friends and creative professionals is my main reason for attending now.

Wednesday was getting settled into the hotel and Preview Night, so I didn't get any drawing done.  Thursday during some downtime at the hotel I worked on a layout for a comic with Brandi Panda that I've been thinking of for a while.  On Friday the possibility came up of doing some work for Michael Vega, and for the rest of the weekend I was working out (and am still working out) a few new characters, on paper and in my head.

Though I'm exhausted now, the show was energizing.  I hope it lasts.
